Reyna Escamilla and Robert Hawk
Robert Hawk (Dakota) is an enrolled member of the Crow Creek Dakota Sioux Tribe. He actively participates in Tribal culture by mentoring those who express genuine interest in drum and singing. Robert teaches drum origin, values and protocols. As the lead singer and drum keeper, he is a well respected leader in the Native community. Robert has danced Grass since he could walk, you will see him at almost every local Pow Wow showcasing his expertise in this category.

Reyna Escamilla (Apache and Chicana) is from North Denver. She has a long-standing background in family and community advocacy, cultural competence and creative direction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Relations and a master’s degree in Learning Development and Family Sciences from the University of Colorado Denver. Reyna is the team’s lead photographer and beadwork instructor.

Robert and Reyna are proud parents of 3 teenagers (and are expecting a baby boy in spring 2025). They are a travel to Pow Wow’s and reservations as a family. R&R live with a Creator given calling to lead, mentor, break cycles and cultivate generational wealth.
